Faculty Academic Experience

Architect, urban designer, and academic researcher, holding a Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering, with academic and research experience in architecture, urban planning, and sustainable development. She has contributed to the publication of several articles and studies on international academic and professional platforms.

She has received numerous awards and honors, most notably the DAF Award (2016) and the MSADA Award (2018). She was also selected as a finalist for the Excellence Award for Women in Architecture and Construction in the Middle East and North Africa region (2018).

She served as the official coordinator between the University of Babylon and the University of Kassel, Germany, within the Urban Acupuncture program, which focuses on developing innovative urban solutions through strategic interventions that create sustainable impacts on the built environment.

She also participated in the United Nations Innovation for Development program, where her project (IAP) was ranked among the top 40 participating projects.

In addition to her research activities, she has worked in university teaching and academic supervision, with a particular interest in enhancing students’ skills and fostering critical thinking and creativity in architecture and sustainable urban design.
