Faculty Academic Experience

Architect, Urban Designer, and Academic Researcher holding a Master’s degree in Architecture, with expertise in architecture, urban design, and sustainable development. She has contributed to the publication of numerous articles and studies on international academic and professional platforms.

She has received several international awards, including the DAF Award (2016) and the MSADA Award (2018). She was also selected as a finalist for international Tamayouz Award for Women in Architecture and Construction in the Middle East and North Africa (2018).

She served as the official coordinator between the University of Babylon and the University of Kassel, Germany, within the Urban Acupuncture Program, which aims to develop innovative urban solutions through strategic interventions that generate sustainable impacts on the built environment.

She also participated in the United Nations Innovation for Development Program, where her project (IAP) was ranked among the top 40 participating projects.

In addition, she has served as a jury member for several architectural competitions, contributing to the evaluation of projects and creative ideas based on specialized professional and academic criteria, in support of excellence and innovation in architecture and urban design.

Alongside her research activities, she has worked in higher education, with a particular interest in developing students’ skills and fostering critical thinking and creativity in the fields of architecture and sustainable urban design.
